The Russian Science Foundation launches a new program where grants grants will be awarded to small groups of researchers under the guidance of leading Russian and foreign scientists.
The grants are being allocated to conduct scientific research in 2015–2017 with possible further extension of the project implementation period by one or two years.
If a leading Russian scientist has applied to take part in the competition as a project leader, the organisation that provides research facilities and channels the funding (branch of the organisation) may not be located in Moscow, the Moscow Region, St Petersburg, the Leningrad Region or any other constituent entity of the Russian Federation where the scientist resides and works. During project implementation, a foreign scientist must reside in the Russian Federation for at least 183 days of each calendar year, and in 2015 – for at least half of the time from the date on which the agreement with the Foundation was signed.
The size of a grant will range from 5 to 10 million roubles each year.
The deadline for applications is 20 April 2015. The competition results will be announced by the Foundation prior to 10 July 2015.
Detailed information about the competition is available in the section “Calls for proposals”.
The Foundation’s Information and Analytical System will be open for submission of applications starting 24 February 2015.
