The third RSF-DFG joint call for proposals was launched in September 2017 and attracted over 120 proposals in all research areas. The selection of winners was based on the results of the peer-review that was organized by both funders independently. The size of one grant from the RSF will amount 4 to 6 million rubles annually. Projects are designed for 3 years and will start as early as in January 2019.

The RSF and DFG confirmed their intention to continue cooperation focusing on the selection and support of the excellent Russian-German research projects. The next period of proposals submission is expected to start in September 2019.
Since 2016, 46 projects have been selected for funding under the RSF-DFG funding program.
