7 international joint research projects will be funded by RSF and ANR

Based on the results of an independent review carried out by Russian and international referees, the Russian Science Foundation and Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR, French National Research Agency) selected 7 winners of the joint call for project proposals. Under the terms of the call proposals in mathematics and physics were invited.

The amount of RSF grant will be from 4 to 6 million rubles annually with funding period of 2020-2022.

"Congratulations to the very first teams of Russian and French researchers awarded with the RSF and ANR grants! We hope to expand this number following the results of the most recent call that was released recently for research projects in mathematics and geosciences. Let me remind you that the submission period for applications has been going on for a month. Next year we plan to publish another call for Russian-French research projects. The teams carrying out research in physics as well as in social sciences and humanities will be able to participate in it," commented Sergey Konovalov, RSF spokesperson of the international projects.
