The newly approved bilateral research projects will be aimed at solving specific problems related to animal health and forestry management.
Evaluation of the projects was carried out both by the Russian and Japanese sides. Three teams that received positive assessments by the reviewers representing both countries were awarded. The amount of one RSF grant will range from 4 to 7 million rubles annually in 2021–2023.
Since 2017, RSF and MAFF have supported in total 14 bilateral projects.
