“As you know, the leaders of Russia and Japan are committed to upgrade bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level of a full-scale multi-format cooperation led by various joint projects in the economic, socio-humanitarian and other spheres. In this sense, our agreements with partners in Japan are aimed at finding and supporting such highly effective, world-class projects in basic science. In the upcoming competition, we look forward to active participation of teams from organizations located in Siberia and the Far East. Recent easing of visa requirements for Russians in Japan should also contribute to further strengthening of links among researchers”, commented these plans Sergey Konovalov, RSF coordinator of international projects.
