New projects with India and Vietnam approved

The RSF announced the new awards of the joint calls with Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and Department of Science Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of India (DST). As a result of these research funding partnerships, 8 new joint projects with Vietnam and 24 new joint projects with India were authorized for funding.

Joint Research Projects combine the complementary expertise of the project partners; the project parts are closely integrated so that one part could not be carried out without the other and there is substantial scientific input from both sides.

The size of one RSF grant is from 4 to 7 million rubles per project per year, these collaborative research projects are planned for the implementation during 2026-2028 (Vietnam) and 2025-2027 (India).

Since 2015, 110 projects have been funded under the RSF-DST funding programme. 18 projects were supported under the RSF-VAST programme.
