RSF expert councils completed yearly rotation

The RSF Supervisory board approved the new composition of the RSF expert councils and the results of the on-line vote to fill the vacant positions of the members of the Foundation's expert councils whose term expired. The new composition of the expert councils is published on web-site.

Expert Council for Targeted Calls

The Expert Council for Targeted Calls is chaired by Alexander Makarov, Scientific Director of the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Biol. Sciences, Full Member of RAS. 

The Council will carry out review of projects submitted to the following competitions:

  • Fundamental and exploratory research under the guidance of leading foreign scientists (megagrants);
  • Fundamental and exploratory research by the directions of the President of the Russian Federation (interdisciplinary research, genetic research, etc.);
  • Fundamental and exploratory research by world-class research laboratories;
  • Fundamental and exploratory research based on existing world-class research infrastructure facilities.

Expert Council for Initiative Projects

The Expert Council for Initiative Projects is chaired by Yulia Gorbunova, Chief Researcher at the Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Chem. Sciences, Full Member of RAS. 

The Council will carry out review of projects submitted to the following competitions:

  • Fundamental and exploratory research by small research groups;
  • Fundamental and exploratory research by research groups;
  • Fundamental and exploratory research by international research teams;
  • Fundamental and exploratory research in priority areas of scientific and technological development;
  • Fundamental and exploratory research co-funded by qualified customers and (or) technology partners.

Expert Council for Young Scientists' Projects

The Expert Council for Young Scientists' Projects is chaired by Valentin Ananikov, head of the laboratory of Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Chem. Sciences, Full Member of RAS. 

The Council will carry out review of projects submitted to the following competitions:

  • Research initiated by young scientists;
  • Research by youth research groups;
  • Research by youth research groups at a high-tech enterprise.
  • Expert Council for Regional Programs

Expert Council for Regional Programs

The Expert Council for Regional Programs is chaired by Mikhail Pogosyan, Rector of the Moscow Aviation Institute, Dr. of Tech. Sciences, Full Member of RAS. 

The Council will carry out review of projects submitted to the following competitions:

  • Fundamental and exploratory research by small research groups co-funded by regions;
  • Fundamental and exploratory research by groups co-funded by regions.

Scientific and Technological Council

The Scientific and Technological Council is chaired by Alexander Klimenko, Chief Researcher of the National University of Science and Technology MISIS, Dr. of Tech. Sciences, Full Member of RAS. 

The Council will carry out review of projects submitted to the following competitions:

  • R&D projects by strategic initiatives of the President of the Russian Federation;
  • Selection of technology proposals for R&D projects;
  • Applied research by strategic initiatives of the President of the Russian Federation in priority areas of R&D development of the Russian Federation;
  • Applied research for national technological leadership projects;
  • Applied research co-funded by qualified customers and (or) technology partners;
  • Applied research co-funded by regions;
  • Applied research by leading foreign scientists.
