RSF and Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan invite proposals for joint research projects

Russian Science Foundation invites proposals from international research teams. The competition is organized jointly with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan (MOST).

Two funders launch joint call for the second time. The grants will support basic and exploratory research in the following fields of knowledge: Mathematics, computer science and systems sciences; Physics and space sciences; Chemistry and materials science; Biology and life sciences; Basic research for medicine; Agricultural sciences; Earth sciences; Humanities and Social Sciences; Engineering.

The project should be related to the solution of the particular research tasks in one of the following thematic areas:
Big data analytics; 

  • Intelligent machinery;
  • Biotechnology and new agriculture;
  • Urban studies;
  • Chinese philosophy.

Review of the proposals will be carried out by both RSF and MOST in parallel independently. The funding will be awarded to the groups that obtain positive evaluation from the reviewers in both countries.

The RSF grant will amount from 4 to 6 million rubles yearly in 2018-2020.
The proposals should be submitted until 30 June 2017 with results to be announced in December this year.
