RSF has selected winners in the competition for funding of projects conducted by research teams counting young candidates of science among their members.

Russian Science Foundation has selected winners in the competition for funding of projects conducted by research teams counting young candidates of science among their members.

Following the competition, 105 projects won the grants.

The applicants had to fulfill the requirement of having at least two young researchers, originally from a different region, participating in the project full time. These researchers had to have had their decrees awarded to them not earlier than 1 January, 2012.

The funding was channeled through organizations with a registered head office in any Russian region with the exception of Moscow, Moscow Region, Saint-Petersburg, Leningrad Region.

Over 240 applications went through expert panel reviews.

The majority of winners are employed by higher education institutions.

The maximum annual funding throughout the grant utilization period will reach up to RUB 8 mn.
