The Russian Science Foundation will inform its grant recipients of the Foundation’s position on whether the Foundation’s grant funding unused in the previous fiscal year can be transferred to the following fiscal year and whether such a transfer contradicts to the intended use of the grant.
At the same time, the Foundation would like to point out that transfer of a part of the funds to the following period has to be justified with reference to the general provisions of the funding agreement. An insufficient justification of the resulting savings or the lack thereof may result in a reduction of the funding compared with the requested financial support.
